Steam sterilization

In medical practice, hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical equipment, sterilization of various devices and equipment is very important. Three different working cycles of sterilizer: air extraction: air prevents hot steam from directly contacting sterilized objects, which is why it must be evacuated from the container. The pressure is reduced to 100 mbar (27 "HGV) and hot steam is injected. This process is repeated three to four times. Sterilization: steam is injected into the container at a pressure of 2-3bar (30-45 psi) and 121-134 ° C (250 to 275 ° f) and all bacteria are killed. During sterilization, the vacuum pump does not work. Drying: after sterilization, the vacuum pump exhausts the air in the sterilizer until the vacuum degree reaches 50mbar (28.5 "HGV), which is used to dry the sterilized object.

 

Central vacuum system

Hospitals and surgical outpatients use a central vacuum system to extract the fluid produced during surgery. A separator is set near the surgical equipment to separate the particles and then treat them properly. Usually, due to the limited space near the surgical equipment, the vacuum system can be installed at a long distance.
